Orchitis

Orchitis is a condition that results in inflammation of one or both testicles, causing pain and swelling in the testicles. It is often a complication of a viral infection, such as the mumps, but can also be caused by a bacterial infection, a sexually transmitted disease, or an injury to the testicles. Symptoms of orchitis include testicular pain, swelling, and tenderness, as well as a fever and discomfort while urinating. Treatment for orchitis typically involves antibiotics to clear the infection, pain relievers to manage the discomfort, and rest.
